Launch of Explorers' Club and After School Worship at Bishop Martin School

Following the sucess of the club at St Thomas the Martyr we launched Explorers at Bishop Martin in October 2009 with 36 children attending weekly.

Schools Celebration Service - 12th July - at Christ the Servant Church

A joint service to celebrate the work in our three schools.

Confirmation 2009

Confirmation classes for Christ the Servant Church were held in Bishop Martin School during the lunch break and the confirmation service was held at St Thomas the Martyr Church on Monday 11th May. We had four candidates from Bishop Martin and two from our Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade.

After School Worship at St Thomas the Martyr

At the end of each half term we hold an after school worship session for children and their families. Time for music, reflection and activities recognising that faith is fun.

Christian Lunch Club at St Thomas the Martyr

The lunch club meets weekly and currently has 29 members. It provides an opportunity for the children to explore their faith in a fun way.

Pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk

Some children from Bishop Martin school performed a dance to open the second half, others were members of the chorus and staff helped with the creation of the set.
